Do you have an example of this working anywhere. I am using colorbox for my lightbox and can’t seem to get this to work.

From this example it seems you haven’t understood the inheritance concept in Javascript. Please review the code and I’m sure you will find the mistake.

Re-reading that I agree with your comments – it should be re-worded in terms of XHTML compliance – the original POSH list was quoted from a wiki page.

With reference to B et al, as deprecated tags they should be omitted and where emphasis is needed STRONG, EM et al should be used.

Also sort of disagree with the emphasis point – why does the same apply to the BR tag? How does one insert a line break without using it? (And I’m not referring to an entirely new paragraph.)
